MAXSOFT Hair Scalp Massager Review
Under $10 and it does the job. If you want to start a scalp massage habit without spending much, this is the right first buy.
Quick verdict
Good baseline performance at the lowest price point we tested. Fewer tips than the HEETA means slightly slower coverage, but the tip quality is solid and it holds up in wet conditions. A smart starting point.

The MAXSOFT has a compact handle with 96 silicone tips. The tips are soft and rounded: no sharp edges. The grip is textured and holds well in a wet shower. The overall build quality is better than you would expect at this price.
The fewer tips versus the HEETA mean you cover smaller areas per stroke. A full scalp pass takes about 3 minutes and 40 seconds at a comfortable pace: about 50 seconds slower than the HEETA. For a daily routine, that difference is not significant.
Performance on different hair types
On fine and medium hair, the MAXSOFT works very well. The tips reach the scalp easily. On thick and coarse hair, the shorter tip length means it is less effective than the HEETA. The tips contact the scalp surface but do not penetrate as deeply through dense hair.
If you have fine or medium hair, the MAXSOFT is all you need. If you have thick or coarse hair, consider upgrading to the HEETA at $12: the extra 3 dollars buys you noticeably better scalp coverage.
Durability after wet use
After 30 wet uses in our test, the MAXSOFT showed no tip degradation, discoloration, or grip deterioration. The silicone stays clean with a quick rinse and air dry. No issues with mildew or odor build-up if you let it dry between uses.
